How my journey began

From an early age I found myself in the role of a listener—someone others turn to for support, guidance, and a compassionate ear. I’ve always been deeply curious about people, their emotions, and what shapes their experiences. This natural inclination led me to study Psychology at The University at Buffalo. I wanted to understand people on a deeper level, to help them make sense of their emotions, challenges, and experiences.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I knew I wanted to do more than just study human behavior—I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. That’s when I decided to pursue my Master’s in Social Work at Fordham University. I was drawn to the field’s holistic, person-centered approach, which allowed me to work directly with individuals to help them navigate life’s stressors.

Healthcare has always been an area of interest for me, and I spent over a decade working in the hospital system, beginning my career at Bellevue Hospital. I later expanded my hospital career, working at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and NYU Langone. While I found the work incredibly rewarding, I often wished I had more time to truly get to know my patients beyond their immediate needs. I wanted to understand their stories, explore the deeper emotional challenges they faced, and support them in a way that extended beyond their hospital stay.

That realization led me to obtain my clinical license and open my own private practice. Now, with extensive experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, I specialize in working with young adults and women navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and self-esteem struggles. I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and strength-based approaches to help my clients develop practical coping strategies while fostering emotional healing and self-growth.

My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive space where individuals feel heard, validated, and empowered. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to help you navigate challenges and step into the best version of yourself.

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
